Finally, a chance to write something about these photos. We're now in a comfortable hostel in Moscow with the next five days, so we can relax the pace a little. The top photo is me looking intimidated on the platform at Warsaw Centralna (a big dark subterrainean zone). The next is Ghengis and Guy relaxing in our 3-bed couchette, with sink. The third photo was taken in the middle of the night at the Ukrainian border, changing the wheels of the train to a different gauge. It was so atmospheric, the photo doesnt do it justice. Below this, Justin ponders the vastness of the Ukrainian countryside. Lastly, I was sticking my head out the window when a train came by.
