In Japan and loving it

Our last day in Sapporo was inevitably spent at the Sapporo Beer Museum, and after a couple of tastings it was time to leave (late morning) towards Hakodate, 3 hours on the train South but still on the very top island of Japan.

Hakodate is a quiet town where the doors cant accomodate my height. We took a cable car to a local peak to forget about being freaks, and found some good views.

They were just taking the piss with the bath...

Back in Tokyo

Yoyogi Park is full of free entertainment at the weekends when the hordes come down and extrovert Japanese people act, paint, dance and play music.

Our random (in a good way) new friend, Toshie, a photographer with a serious Hasselblad in his hands. He was clearly from the cool set and he showed us around the Hirajuku area, where the kool kids go.

We have just speeded out to Yokohama tonight on the Shinkansen, riding the worlds tallest ferris wheel at 105m. All very bright and futuristic and everything you would expect of Japan.

Almost the last time I post on the blog as Mohsin and I fly home next Sunday and Justin a couple of days after. Keep checking..
