Creme de la Kremlin

We have spent that day in the Kremlin visiting its many cathedrals and being told off (whistled at) by soldiers for veering off the beaten track. As you can imagine security is number 1 within the walls of the Kremlin and we even noticed infra-red barriers beyond where tourists are allowed to go! So we started to speculate that they had microphones in the trees etc. We also saw a big bell and were lucky enough to see a military parade at lunchtime. We had no idea it happens every day. The Ruskis put on a good show with some funky gun-toting moves and lots of horseys. The afternoon was used to visit the Armoury, containing all sorts of treasures - a few of the amazing Faberge eggs were on display. One in particular had a miniture train which would run on a track inside the egg. We also checked out the statue of Marx - the writing says 'Proletariates of the World unite!'. We're embarking on our first leg of the legendary Trans-Siberian railway tomorrow, to Yekaterinburg. Its about a day and a halfs journey and we don't know what Yekaterinburg will be like so expect more posting in about a week.

Robert,

have you actually gone travelling with OK GO? The guys in your photos are surely the same guys who dance on treadmills.
